I did the Open Water Certification at Gilis Divers and it was completely amazing. My instructor Camila answered to all my questions and made us feel super safe in every dive and when we were at the pool. I did the Open Water Course with Sergi and It was an amazing experience. We having fun and also learned a lot of things. Sergi was attentive all the time and he gave us a lot of confidence to do all the dives. I'll be back for sure.

Completed my SSI Open Water Diver training here. From the first email, communication was great. Everybody was so welcoming and friendly. Denise was my trainer and was very friendly and professional with a real passion for diving and training. No rushing through any steps and everything explained well. So cool. Had an amazing experience doing my Open Water at Gili Divers!! after one try dive we were hooked and decided to do the full course. Rick was an amazing instructor, I had a big panic on one of my dives but he was so professional in dealing with it and calming me down! super friendly and very reassuring to any worries or questions we had!!
Amazing experience at Gili Divers this week! Staff were all so nice. I did my Open Water course with Mike who couldn’t have been a better instructor, I had a great time! I then decided to do my Advanced Adventurer course straight after with them and Leanne and Mauro were amazing! Really great dives, total professionals and great facilities. Jasper took our phots on one of the dives and they came back really cool - fully recommend him too!
I had an amazing first time ever scuba diving with Gili Divers. All the things we did was well organized. My instructor Clem is so so great, very caring. All the instructions from her was easy to understand and to follow, made me feel safe. Would definitely come back for my open water course with them!

As a dive center, we affiliate with SSI for its conservative standards, free insurance during courses, superior online theory, and flexibility in learning speed/abilities. Ultimately, certifications are recognised worldwide and you can dive or continue education with either agency.
Absolutely! We offer introductory dive programs specifically designed for beginners with no prior diving experience. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every step of your first underwater adventure.
While walk-in bookings are welcome, we recommend booking dives and courses in advance, especially during peak seasons, to secure your spot and ensure availability. And we offer early booking discounts on courses.

You can pay via credit card with a 3% charge, transfer or cash in IDR. Payments can be made in advance for unlocking course materials.
Yes, depending on the condition. Please find attached a copy of the medical, you will need clearance from a medical professional.
Individuals must be at least 10 years old to participate in scuba diving courses. However, we also offer bubble maker programs in the swimming pool for children as young as 8 years old.
SSI e-learning is available in many languages. We also have Instructors available to teach in English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian and Indonesian.
Yes, no problem! You can mix agencies and dive with any center (PADI with SSI or vice versa).
Yes. It doesn't matter which organisation you are certified through, as long as you're certified. For continuing education, you can also switch between agencies.
For introductory dives or beginner courses, no prior experience or certifications are typically required. However, for more advanced dives, certifications such as Open Water Diver or equivalent may be necessary
